Use of the site
You may browse, link to, and share the content here. You may not scrape the site at disruptive volume, attempt to compromise it, or misrepresent the content as your own. (We appreciate the irony of attacking a security company's website, but we'd rather you didn't.)
Information, not advice
Content on this site is general information about security services and threats. It is not professional advice for your specific situation; that's what the actual engagement is for. Statistics cite their sources and were accurate when published.
The free Security Checkup
The Security Checkup is genuinely free and carries no obligation. Its scope, schedule and terms are agreed in writing before it begins. Either party can withdraw before or during the assessment.
Intellectual property
The Stop Ransomware name, site design and content belong to us. Third-party names and logos (including Check Point) belong to their respective owners and appear under their usage terms.
Liability
The site is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the website itself. Liability for contracted services is defined in the service agreement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continued use of the site after changes means acceptance.
