Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.stop-ransomware.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose — a privacy policy you can actually read is part of taking privacy seriously.
Who we are
Stop Ransomware is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at help@stop-ransomware.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, company name and message — processed by our form provider, Formspree, and delivered to our inbox.
- Booking: when you schedule a call, our scheduling provider, Cal.com, collects your name, email and the details you choose to share.
- Analytics: we use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics that collect aggregate page statistics only. No personal profiles, no cross-site tracking.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, run the call you booked, and understand how the site is used. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and your consent where required.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal data — to anyone, ever.
- We don't send marketing email unless you explicitly ask for it.
- We don't use advertising trackers or social media pixels.
Retention
Enquiries are kept while we work together or while a conversation is active, then deleted within 24 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email help@stop-ransomware.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Processors
We use a small number of service providers to run this site: Formspree (forms), Cal.com (scheduling), and our hosting/analytics provider. Each processes data under its own GDPR commitments.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
This policy is provided for transparency and may be updated as our services evolve. For specific questions about your data, contact us at help@stop-ransomware.com.
